As an EU citizen, will there be any visa requirements to visit the UK considering Brexit?


The AH2021 team believes that visa requirements for the retreat will not be enforced. You can seek more guidance from the UK government here.




Can I pay in instalments?


Yes! You have the option to pay in 3 easy instalments. We will take an initial payment as a non-refundable deposit, followed by two further payments in 30 day intervals. To illustrate: Instalment 1 which is a deposit e.g. £100 - (pay today) Instalment 2 after 30 days of paying the deposit - £65 Instalment 3 after 60 days of paying the deposit - £65 Total payment - £230




What does the registration fees include?


Registration fees include access to all sessions, materials and workshops, as well as meals and overnight en-suite accomodation.




Can I arrive late on the Friday?


Al-Hidayah registration will begin at 10.00 am with the first session with Shaykh ul Islam scheduled for the early afternoon. (Approx. 1-2pm*). Ariving late risks missing out on crucial sessions. Registration will nonetheless be open for any latecomers. *schedule is subject to potential changes.




Will there be a creche facility?


We are looking into the feasibility of providing a creche facility, however we would require a sustainable demand for this facility. If you are interested in using the creche please email us at: info@al-hidayah.co.uk




Can I refund my registration ticket?


Cancellations:
Cancellation within 7 days of a registration being completed will receive a full refund less £20 administration fee.
Cancellation after 7 days of a registration will not be eligible for any refund.
Transfers:
Any registrant wishing to transfer a registration to another person will have to apply in writing to info@al-hidayah.co.uk giving details of their registration and reason for transfer. Al-Hidayah will try to accommodate transfers wherever possible,but, reserve the right to refuse a transfer request if it is not considered possible.




How many persons can a shared occupancy room accomodate?


Shared occupancy rooms can only accomodate 2 individuals, alongside a cot (subject to availability and request).




Is there a fee for Children?


Fees for children are as follows (early booking discounted pricing): Campus accommodation: Below 16 years: £165 Below 3 years: £50 Hotel type accommodation: Single occupancy: Below 16 years: £200 Below 3 years: £50 Shared Occupancy: Below 16 years: £185 Below 3 years: £50




Can I attend Individual days/sessions only?


Unfortunately we are not able to offer day delegate tickets at this moment.




Do I need to do a separate application for my child?


If your child is under 16 years there will be a section in the application for child details to be entered. Individuals over the age 16 will require an individual application.
